GDC 2011 interview

Check out this great interview Niv gave at the last GDC expo.
The interview was done by Ben Mears from design3. A small, Santa Cruz CA. based company that teaches game development through the use of video tutorials.

I can totally relate to the fact that, when asked to describe in one word the entire process of developing a game for the last couple of years, Niv simply replies – Insane.

Thanks a lot Ben for doing the interview!

Confetti Carnival 300x180 PC Gamer preview

Confetti Carnival

PC Gamer just put their Preview of Confetti Carnival online.

We’re so happy with how that turned out as it seems they really enjoyed the game and picked up on so many things that we’re excited about in Confetti Carnival – but weren’t so sure players will get if they only played it for a little while …

Big thanks to the PC Gamer staff for their support.

We LOOOVE you PC Gamer ;)

Another Super Exciting Nomination!

We just got the message from Indie Game Challenge that Confetti Carnival is one of the finalists for this important competition.

Aside for the potential prize money, we feel honored to be chosen by leading developers and industry figures. Of course the extra PR this will give us is most welcome.

So what does it all mean? It means that Niv will fly to Vegas to attend DICE Summit and the Indie Game Challenge ceremony. I will stay home this time, crossing my fingers from the other end of the world.

2 weeks after that, Niv, Alon and I (100% of the Confetti Carnival team) will present our game on the floors of GDC, San-Fransisco.

Indeed, extremely fun and exciting times to all of us – and it seems like it’s just the beginning.
