How to Add a Personal Email Address

To incorporate a personal email address into your account, adhere to the following steps:

  1. Sign in to My Account and ensure you’re on the Users tab.
  2. Choose Edit next to the user for whom you wish to add an email address.
  3. Within the Contact Information section, click Add a Personal Email Address. (Note: If there’s already a personal address linked to the username, you can click Remove to start these instructions anew or select Edit to make necessary adjustments).
  4. Enter your email address and confirm it. Then, click Save.

We’ll dispatch a verification link to authenticate your new email address. For security purposes, your email verification link remains valid for 72 hours.

Note: Your comcast.net email address remains the default preferred address until you modify this setting in My Account.

Designate Your Preferred Email Address

To establish a personal email as your preferred address, you must initially add a second email address to your account by following the aforementioned instructions.

  1. Sign in to My Account.
  2. Pick Edit next to the user for whom you intend to alter the preferred email.
  3. In the Contact Information section, click the Edit button within the email section.
  4. Click Make this preferred to specify your preferred email address. A gray “Preferred” indicator will accompany your selection.
